Ryan Dubbels is a 2015 LHP/OF/1B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson HS. Lean young build, lots of room to get stronger. Sound leg raise delivery, 3/4's arm slot, good arm circle that hides the ball well and creates deception, arm works well coming through, projectable arm action and velocity.. Fastball topped at 82 mph, mostly straight with good angle when down in the zone. Mid-60's curveball with 12/6 downer break and occasional depth. Nice change up with late running action, has all three pitches. Arm strength and athleticism shown in drills at first base and outfield indicate future velocity gains as well. Left handed hitter, open stance, has hand quickness, rotational line drive swing with good feel for the barrel, squares up and hits to all fields. Skilled athlete who should keep getting better. Very good student.
