Quintin Ivy is a 2016 OF/RHP, C, 3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Wyoming, DE who attends Caesar Rodney. Tall, strongly built, highly athletic frame. Physically mature. Good speed. Ran a 6.76 60 yard dash. Throws have good carry from the outfield and gets behind the ball well. Bats right-handed, works from a simple, upright approach and hits line drives to the middle of the field. Stays short to the ball and flashes bat speed. Shows a sound approach. Also took the mound, reaches 82 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Has a short, repeatable arm action. Mixes a 69 mph curveball with solid 11-5 depth. Misses bats with his fastball. Also flashes a changeup spotted down in the zone. Throws strikes.Very good student.
