Tyler Hale is a 2009 RHP/OF with a 5'9'', 152 lb. frame from Abilene, TX who attends Abilene HS. Tyler may be smaller in stature but makes up for it with a big arm. He used an OT arm angle and his fastball reaches the low 90's. Even with a low 90's fastball his curveball may be his best pitch. His curveball was a true downer with excellent bite. He also mixed in a change and showed good pitchability. He was athletic on the mound and also showed it by running a 6.75 sixty. He is a very good student and will create strong interest in the next year in Texas.
