Gregory Mula Jr is a 2013 MIF/3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Mandeville, LA who attends Northlake Christian HS. Smaller compact athletic build, good strength for size. 6.70 runner, good defensive range, works through the ball well, good exchange and release, good arm strength, shows athleticism on defense. Right handed hitter, spread no stride approach, some crouch, long swing, some hand quickness getting bat started, soft spray line drive contact, needs to shorten up swing mechanics. Also pitched, unique pitching mechanics, pitches from stretch with very limited weight shift, no stride to plate, impressive he can touch 80 mph with this approach, arm is quick and smooth and works well, just no help from body, H 3/4's slot, some spin on slider, lets up on slider for softer curveball occasionally, throws strikes. Good athlete with some tools who needs mechanical adjustments in many areas. Good student.
