Midel Gomez is a 2015 3B/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola. Tall, solidly built, mature frame. Ran a 7.52 60 yard dash. Shows good tools on the infield and hands work very well. Displays present arm strength with good carry across the diamond. Moves well through the ball. Bats right-handed, flashes good bat speed and looks to pull the ball. Has a level, line drive swing path. Makes consistent, hard contact and lets the ball track deep. Very good student.
