Tyree Davis is a 2014 OF/SS with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Compton, CA who attends Centennial HS. Tall, slender athletic build, limited present strength. Very good runner, easy strides, 4.27 home to first, probably a 6.6 runner in the 60. Switch hitter, looser swing with more bat speed left handed, good extension, some developing bat speed, handles the barrel well, tends to cut off his swing right handed, less raw bat speed. Centerfield tools defensively, has range and good footwork, developing arm strength, arm action works better in outfield than in the infield. Athletic player who will improve with additional strength.
