James Mejia is a 2012 C with a 5-6 160 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends R.L. Paschal HS. Short compact build. Right handed hitter, late leg lift trigger, will benefit from getting foot down in time, short rotational swing, soft line drive contact, mostly opposite field, finds the barrel consistently. Hard worker behind the plate, willing blocker, works with pitchers, still working on anticipation skills and throwing mechanics. Good student.
