He has solid defensive actions and showed good body control in the defensive workout. Lovisa showed good baserunning instincts in the showcase games and was aggressive on the basepaths. At the plate, Lovisa starts with balanced stance and stays balanced through finish. He has flexed knees and uses a short load to start his swing. Lovisa has a compact swing and throws his hands to the baseball well. He has quick hands with bat speed through the zone. Lovisa looks to lift the ball and presently has gap to gap pop. He is also a very good student.
