2014 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Jack Revier is a 2015 C/IF with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Lincoln HS. Lean athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, tall open stance with a late close, double top front foot, lots of complicated timers that can be simplified, swings hard and has some bat speed, ball jumps pretty well when timing comes together, some lift in swing. Athletic actions behind the plate, stays low with a wide stance receiving, good footwork throwing, accurate throws, best pop time 2.10, third base actions in the infield defensively. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot, threw all fastballs at 77-78 mph and had a quick inning. Good student.
