Max Crabtree is a 2014 1B/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Lawrenceburg, KY who attends Anderson County. Young two-way player. Tall thin build with room to fill, projects to add strength. Hits from a slightly open stance, left handed hitter, pullside approach. Gets leverage in swing, power approach though he has not yet developed enough physically to hit for home run power with wood bat. Moves well laterally at 1B, long frame gives fielders big target. Fastball up to 75 on the mound, good shape to 11-5 curveball. Excellent student.
