Matthew Broadhead is a 2014 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Harrison. Medium, very athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 6.98 60 yard dash. Shows a strong outfield arm and produces good carry. Also played the infield and moves well laterally. Bats right-handed, works from a square stance and uses a toe tap trigger. Gets long at times, but knows how to lift the ball and drives the ball to all fields. Also took the mound, pitches from an over the top slot and has a long arm action. Pitches downhill at 75-78 mph and flashes an 11-5 curveball that he was able to locate. Flashed a changeup as well. Good student.
