Collin Strall is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Southern Prospect HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, high high/elbow load, leg lift trigger, tends to stay over back side with limited shift, has the strength to create bat speed with some adjustments. Good balanced actions in the infield, quick exchange, works through the ball well, has a feel for playing defense, good game performance, 7.31 runner who will need to work on his lower half quickness for the next level. Also pitched, two-way prospect. Side arm cross fire delivery with big lean to the third base side, stays balanced and on line well, gets some flat run on his fastball, fastball topped at 86 from side arm, also threw a few high 3/4's with the same velocity. Curveball was his out pitch, big sweeper that had deception and hitter's didn't see, threw CB for strikes and froze hitters, will be effective in short stints.
