Logan Spurlin is a 2012 C with a 6-3 234 lb. frame from Evanston, IL who attends Loyola Academy. Spurlin has a big, strong build. He has a wide base at the plate, rock-back load, no stride, stays balanced, short and simple swing, doesn't waste movement, big strength in upper half, can use lower half more, shows solid feel for hitting, has huge raw power to develop. Wide and low base behind the plate, receives well, short arm action, long transfer, strong arm. Has fun playing the game. He is a good student.
