Edward Kieltyka is a 2012 1B/C, 3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from New Britain, CT who attends Xavier. Strong, athletic build with projection. Defensively, projects at 1B and 3B. Good hands and feel at 1B. Long arm action with more arm strength to come. Fields high on the middle infield. Stands to throw. Switch hitter at the plate. Left side, aggressive swing, gets bat head out front and has natural pop. Good hands with some lift in his swing. Right side, solid approach with strength. Reaches for ball out front. Has power potential. Will benefit from better balance. Good student.
