Stetson Woods is a 2014 RHP with a 6-9 210 lb. frame from Madera, CA who attends Liberty HS. Extra tall and long build, lots of room to get stronger. Clean easy delivery, repeats pretty well, gets back turned, high 3/4's arm slot, good extension out front and ball gets on hitter's quickly, nice delivery for his size. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, good 2-seam fastball action at times, can get fastball to arm glove side to challenge left handed hitter's inside, fastball velocity plays up and have seen up to 92 mph at other times this summer.. Slurve type breaking ball, sweeping break with fair spin, commands curveball well and uses it projectively. Obvious projection and has good mechanics to guild from.
