Matthew Oxner is a 2012 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Pioneer. Tall athletic build, very good pitchers body. High 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short quick arm action, very good armside run on fastball, will drop down some, feel for three pitches, around the plate, keeps hitters off balance. Consistent contact at the plate, short to the ball, adjustments in approach will improve hitting ability. Athletic actions at first base, good around the bag.
