Inzerillo is a 5-9 sophomore left handed hitting outfielder from New York. Inzerillo hits from a balanced, no load approach with a wide stance and a rotational, line drive swing. He has surprising bat quickness for a young slender player and projects some gap to gap power as he begins to mature and gain some strength. Inzerillo had a patient approach that you like to see from a top of the order hitter. Inzerillo lists pitcher as a secondary position but didn’t pitch in Fort Myers. After seeing him in outfield drills and throwing in games, we’d like to see him on the mound. Inzerillo threw 81 mph during drills with a very smooth, effortless arm stroke. As a very young 2007 prospect, he might have a future on the mound, too, if that arm strength and arm action transfer. Overall, Inzerillo is a good follow who should improve as he gets stronger.
