Stout is a small framed 5'7-135 middle infielder with a live body and good speed (7.12/4.46). He showed good reads on the bases in the games that led to him moving up and scoring. In the field he shows good arm strength (81 on the gun), with a quick release. Stout is a switch hitter who was better from the right side with line drive type approach. Richard's a very good all round player who will get bigger and stronger. He’s also an excellent student who carries a 4.0 average.
