Alex Bruu is a 2011 RHP/IF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney Boyd HS. Medium slender build. Full delivery, good direction, arm works easy, could use lower 1/2 more, throws downhill. Low to mid 80's fastball, touched 86 mph, some sink on FB, good spin and sharpness to CB, could throw CB more, good pitch, rare change up. Missed low often with 2-seam FB, will improve with better FB command. Good athlete, 7.03 runner, good balance and body control in the IF, quick release, has infield arm strength. Bat speed at the plate, clean hitting mechanics, ball jumps off the barrel well, solid mid field contact. Could be a 2-way player at the next level. Good student.
