Mark Marzano is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Barron Collier HS. Marzano has a medium, slender build with room for continued strength development. High 3/4 arm slot on the mound, slower paced delivery, throws strikes and looks to get ahead with his fastball. Fastball shows run and sink, and compliments it with a 12-6 curveball that shows depth. Also showed a changeup that has potential to develop into a viable third pitch. Showed arm strength during his outfield worker and patroled the outfield well during game play, getting good jumps and reads off the bat. Slightly open stance at the plate and upright, short load and long swing. Has raw bat speed and gets it through the zone. Generates solid contact. Very good student.
