James Carnes is a 2010 MIF/P with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Skyline HS. Slender build, some developing strength. Tall stance hitting, hits down to the ball, short compact swing, some hand strength, looks away, looks to use 7.06 speed. Compact infield release, gets rid of ball quickly, throws carry well, quick feet at times. Also pitched, FB to 82 mph, clean arm action, on line mechanics, good depth on downer curveball, FB has nice run/sink. Good student.
