PG Grade: 7
Garcia is a 5-7 junior middle infielder from Tampa with a very aggressive approach on the field that enables him to play bigger than his size. Garcia has a big, hard swing and generates some bat speed with extension through the ball. He hit one ringing triple up the right centerfield gap and took some healthy cuts at other balls. Defensively, Garcia plays the same way. His raw arm strength and quickness are better suited for second base but he plays with such energy that he was able to make some nice plays at shortstop to get outs during the games. Garcia did consistently show soft and quick hands when fielding the ball. If he can keep up his attitude and work ethic, Garcia can play at the next level. He is also a good student.
