McKeever is a very strong young man who has some serious pop in his bat. He starts with his hands high at the plate but gets them down and through the ball well. McKeever has the hand strength and bat speed to put back spin on the ball with wood and hit very well in game situations. Defensively, we think McKeever will end up at first base. He will need to improve his arm to stay behind the plate at the highest levels. McKeever is a 7.46 runner in the 60 and has good athletic actions for his size. Mike can really hit and hit with power. He is a good student.
