Gerard DeFilippo is a 2011 C/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from East Hanover, NJ who attends De Paul Catholic. DeFilippo has a slender build with some strength. He has an even stance at the plate, solid overall approach, good batspeed, has pop in his swing, solid extension through the ball, will go opposite field. He has a solid transfer ad release behind the plate, gains ground on throws, solid arm strength. He is also a good student.
