Sean Kennedy is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Fredericksburg, VA who attends North Stafford HS. Medium build, some present strength. Smooth easy delivery, easy leg raise, stays on line and under control, extended 3/4's release point, smooth arm and good out front. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, fairly straight and hitters saw it well. Good depth to 73 mph curveball, hard spin and bite, rare change with slower arm speed. Very good pickoff move. Good arm and delivery to work from. Also shows a smooth swing at the plate, good pull contact, loose out front. Good student.
