Stefaniak is a 2005 RHP/3B from Needham, MA with a slim 6'1"/165 pound body. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an on-line delivery and a short backside. His fastball topped out at 78 mph and he mixed in a big 11-5 curveball at 62 mph. his change-up topped out at 65 mph and had some sink action. He has good command of all 3 pitches. At 3B, he showed good hands and a good feel for his position with a 73 mph, accurate throwing arm. As a hitter, he hit consistent line drives from a relaxed stance with a high, shifting leg kick. He ran a quick 7.22 in the 60. Michael is an excellent student.
