Michael Mitchell is a 2005, 6'0" left handed pitcher/outfielder from Palos Verdes, California. He pitches from a bunched up delivery bent at the waist and never gets tall or leveraged in his delivery. Mitchell’s fastball topped out at 75 mph and he threw a low 50’s curveball. He showed a very good ability to throw strikes during four innings of work. His curveball was very hard to hit. Offensively Mitchell had a rotational swing with average bat speed. He made solid contact, but rolled over many pitches with a heavy top hand that didn't allow him to get extension on his finish. Michael is a great student.
