Tanner Neill is a 2011 MIF/OF with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Howe, TX who attends Van Alstyne HS. Smaller athletic build, good present strength. 6.96 runner, fast twitch actions, good hands defensively, very quick release on double plays at 2B, high energy player, 2B profile on defense, also plays the outfield. Leg raise trigger hitting, active feet, upper half rotational swing, long to the ball, did not use physical tools at the plate, needs to use his quickness/strength to shorten and simplify his swing. Has the tools to keep improving with adjustments.
