Taylor Sanders is a 2011 C/IF with a 5'9'', 180 lb. frame from Tigard, OR who attends Tigard. Medium build, strong, good catcher's body. Showed good skills behind the plate during both the workout and in games, active behind the plate, moves well to block, receives well, good transfer and release and gets up quickly, gets in good position to make throw to second base and does so with an accurate arm, good overall catch and throw skills. Rhythm approach at the plate, shows good batspeed, aggressive early in counts, there is some power in this bat. Very good student.
