2003 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Rigoli is an "04" 3B/1B. At 5'11/210 he needs to work on his body. That said, he can really get things done on a baseball field. He lacks MLB speed and arm strength, but he can really hit. He's a good strong hitter who doesn't always take a pretty swing, but he just knows how and gets it done. He did start swinging the bat real well in the games, attacking pitchers. He created some hard cracks of the bat and smoked a few balls. He's got serious power potential. Matthew is an excellent student.
