Mathew Carrasco is a 2005 outfielder/third baseman from Surrey BC Canada with a good lean body at 6 ft. 0 170 pounds. He hits from a wide stance with high hands and good balance. He has a long swing plane and a high extended finish. He showed present strength and generates good bat speed. He has a line drive swing and showed he has the potential to hit for power to all fields. Defensively, he has a short arm action with some effort in his release. He threw 77 mph from the outfield with good accuracy. He is very raw with a projectable body and he has the potential to develop into a solid outfielder at the next level.
