Clay Harrell is a 2012 C/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends The Kinkaid School. Solid athletic build, good strength. High set up defensively, good footwork and fundamentals, arm strength really improving, on line accurate throws, 1.92 best pop, repeats release well, will need to continue to work on lower half quickness/flexibility. Spread no stride hitting approach, limited lower half use, some upper half strength, shows occasional some strength/lift on softer stuff, patient quiet game approach. Good student.
