Matt Burke is a 2011 SS/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Oak Ridge HS. Medium athletic build, some developing strength. Very good speed, 6.68 in the 60, athletic actions on defense. Sound middle infield defender, soft hands, quick glove/hand exchange, throws carry well, quick feet with balance. Exaggerated open stance, tends to dive in, hand drop load, loose swing with upper cut plane, hits to all fields, raw bat speed. Good student.
