Espie is a 6-2, 180 lb senior outfielder from South Carolina with some good present strength. He ran the 60 in 7.42 and threw 77 mph from the outfield with a long arm stroke. Espie has lots of early motion and coiling action to his swing but maintains good balance in his approach. He showed very good bat speed and the ability to drive the ball hard to all fields.
