Kevin is a junior middle infielder from Southern California with a strong physical build and the chance to get stronger. Offensively, Kevin has an aggressive swing that generates bat speed and shows power potential. He has the tendency to be a little too pull concious and will cut himself off out front, but Kevin comes to the plate in attack mode and drove the ball hard all showcase. We'd like to see more young hitters with Kevin's approach. Defensively, Kevin showed good arm strength at shortstop and a very accurate arm. Despite being a bigger kid for middle infielder, Kevin showed some acrobatic actions in the middle of field and made some very athletic plays. Some of that is probably a result of his high energy, aggressive style of play. Kevin is an outstanding student who should be well sought after by many college programs for his tools and his style of play.
