Joel Seibert is a 2005 first baseman/left handed pitcher from Orangevale, California, with a large frame and strong durable build. He has a short arm action, and a quick online release. He has good, soft hands at first base, and the agility to move around the bag well. Seibert has good bat speed with present strength that will transfer to the next level. On the mound, he throws strikes, and topped out at 72 mph with his fastball to go along with a 62 mph curveball. Seibert also throws in a 63 mph change up with some sink and fade. The LH bat is his ticket to the next level.
