DeCarlo looked dominate in game action with 7 strikeouts in 3 innings. He is a definite two-way prospect as he showed good tools in the field and at the plate. He has very good speed with a 6.94-60 yard and a strong arm from the outfield at 87 mph with good carry. As a right handed hitter, Jeffrey generates very good bat speed. He has strength and leverage in his swing and great power potential. He is a must follow and is a very good student.

Jeffrey DeCarlo is a 2006 left handed pitcher/outfielder from Medford, MA. DeCarlo has a long and lanky 6'1", 160 pound pitcher’s body, and was named to the Underclass Top Prospect Team. As a left handed pitcher, he throws from a high ¾ arm slot with an 82 mph fastball that showed good movement and signs of a good cut fastball. He used a slow leg kick and deceptive delivery to keep hitters off balance with his 1-7, 67 mph curveball, and shows good command of the strike zone with both pitches. In the outfield he showed good speed with a 7.18-60 on a slow track, and a strong throwing arm at 83 mph. At the plate, he is a good contact hitter with above average power potential. DeCarlo hits from an open stance with a slightly long swing, however he has tremendous bat speed. He is a strong two way player and is one to watch. Jeffrey is a solid student.
