Ty Warrington is a 2011 C/P/2B/OF with a 5'6'', 139 lb. frame from Hockessin, DE who attends Sanford. Ty has a lean build with lots of room and time to add strength. At the plate Ty has an aggressive hitting approach and makes consistent solid contact. His swing plane can get long and loopy and he needs to work getting more leverage in his swing and shortening up some. In the outfield Ty has a good arm action with clean footwork and just needs to add strength. In the infield Ty is a clean fielder with good footwork and best projects at second base. He is a sound receiver with a good feel for the game and will be solid once his arm gets stronger. On the mound Ty has a low effort approach with a short compact arm action. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a clean delivery and his velocity projects well. Ty is a player that should attract the attention of many college programs as he gets bigger and stronger.
