Joseph Kreuer is a 2028 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends South Fayette Twp. Medium athletic build with good length and physical projection. Works from a side step delivery with a medium leg raise and slight hip turn, longer stride down the mound, has good arm speed from a 3/4's arm slot, fluid and repeatable mechanics that he repeated well. Fastball was in the mid-80's and topped out at 86 mph with some cutting life at times and some ride up in the zone. Curveball was a solid pitch with tight spin and 11/5 shape. Also showed good young feel for an upper 70's change up. Threw strikes and sequenced well, lots of projection remaining. 6.88 runner in the sixty. Secondary third baseman on defense, moves his lower half well to the ball but tends to bend at the waist to field, has good arm strength but developing accuracy on his throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a high wrapped hand load and a long stride into contact, longer lifting swing path, swings hard and is looking to pull ad lift the ball, showed come barrel control and hitting potential. Good student. Named to the Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
