2003 Sunshine East Showcase
Jake is a solid 3B with a very good body and some good tools. He has above avg MLB bat speed and doesn’t get cheated at the plate. Good natural hitting ability! In the field he showed a strong accurate arm across the infield and excellent actions. He also pitched well at 80-83 FB and a good breaking ball. We like him at 3B, he has big potential and really projects well. Needs to run a little better but has a chance to be a special player. Good student.
