Travis Breslin is a 2009 MIF/3B with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Martin HS. He has a good strong frame that should continue to get stronger. Breslin is a left handed hitter who hits from a tall and open stance. He tends to pull off the ball and fall to the first base side on his swing but shows the strength and ability to hit the inside pitch with authority. He stayed back well on off speed pitches and showed projectable hitting ability if he can learn better direction and balance to the ball. We're not sure if Breslin's arm was healthy or not. He showed good footwork and agility in the field and quick hands receiving the ball, but his arm action was awkward and he lacked middle infield arm strength. He has the bat to play the corners with adjustments but he it would be nice to see if his arm is strong enough at third base if he was indeed less than 100%.
