Nathan Schwartz is a 2028 1B/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Skyline. Features a medium-sized frame with plenty of room/time to add size and strength. Ran an 8.19 60-yd dash. At 1B, he showed avg. defensive actions. Footwork was choppy but fielded most GBs cleanly. Showed bias for his backhand. Glove worked down late with some stab at times. Made accurate DP throws. At the plate, he sits in a relaxed stance with loose hands. Uses a quick forward move where his hands drop slightly into launch. Showed a handsy swing that works the barrel on a slight uphill path with avg. bat speed for his level. Inconsistent contact but had some quality line drives to the middle of the field. On the mound, he worked exclusively from the stretch and used a smaller hip high knee lift. Pushy off the rubber where he works slightly closed into landing. Arm action worked shorter in the back working up early and to release at a normal ¾ slot with avg. armspeed for his level. Only showed a fastball that worked in the low-mid 60s.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
