2026 PG Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (National Showcase Qualifier)
Andrew Poss is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Derby, KS who attends Rose Hill. Tall athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good feel for angles to the ball and moves his feet well, plays well on the run and can make the athletic play, changed his slots well, got downhill on his throws and changed arm slots well while making accurate throws, has the athleticism to stay in the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance, some connectivity to his back side when he stays back, line drive swing plane with some bat speed, can get more athletic in his set up and stance, showed his pull side power in the game. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a long arm action and high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some downhill plane. Change up was his best pitch with nice arm speed and some fading action. Also threw a 70 mph curveball with some 11/5 shape and moderate depth. Very good student. Named to the PG Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
