2023 PG Softball Oklahoma City Scouting Combine
Tatiana Garcia is a 2029 C/2B, MIF, OF from Anson, TX who attends Anson. Tatiana is a player that I will not forget from this combine in Oklahoma City. Her energy and love for the game was contagious and you can tell that she just loves to be out on the field. Although she is a very young catcher, she did not miss a beat when it came to catching anyone that needed a catcher during the day. She is a veteran behind the plate when it comes to framing mechanics and getting her body positioned around the ball. She does a great job communicating with her pitchers and made quick adjustments when it came to her throws to second base. Offensively she is a right handed stand in hitter who has quick hands to the ball and generates exceptional barrel speed for her age. As she continues to grow and continue to work on lower half strength in her swing, she will continue to improve her power to all sides of the field. Tatiana has a bright future in softball. She is a young player that is going to continue to get better and better as she matures and develops. I cannot wait to see where the game takes her.
