2004 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
LHP Glen Sieck: Sieck is a slim, angular left handed pitcher. He has a sound arm stroke and delivery for the most part, although he opens up his lead leg and front side early and loses leverage as his arm comes through. Sieck’s fastball was 72-75 mph from a high ¾’s release point. He also threw a big, slow curveball for strikes that topped out at 65 mph but was more consistently 59-62. He's a finesse lefty with good poise on the mound.
