2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Cory Hendricks is a 2009 C/OF with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Atlantic Shores Christian. Cory has an athletic build and showed good raw hitting tools at the showcase. He hits from a quiet balanced hitting approach with a line-drive swing plane and does a good job of centering the ball up. At times he gets a little-inside out with his swing, but he does a good job of staying level and driving the ball consistently. Behind the plate Cory has good footwork and an accurate arm, but really needs to improve his arm strength. Cory is a solid student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
