Graham Nancarrow is a 2006 C/P/OF from La Costa Canyon HS in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, with a 5'11", 175 lb. frame. Offensively the right handed hitter hits from a slightly closed stance with a high back elbow. Nancarrow is a very patient hitter with good strike zone judgment and isn't going to chase bad pitches. He has a line drive swing path with solid bat speed and made hard, solid contact in batting practice. Behind the plate he shows foot quickness on the pivots to second base. The pop times were better in the game than during the workout when he sped up his release to second base. Nancarrow showed good receiving skills with softer hands and worked well with all the different pitchers. He is also a good student.
