PG Grade: 6.5
Lingle is a good infielder who has a smaller body that is best suited for second base. He can get the job done with the glove showing good reaction to the ball and quick feet. He has nice fielding actions and does everything the way it is supposed to be done. The only thing lacking defensively is his arm strength, being clocked at 77 mph, but easily making the throw from the 2B bag. He anticipates the play in the field, has range, swings with good bat-speed, hits the ball all day long and makes all the plays in the field. He is the type of player you want on your team. He also took the mound and showed 80-81 mph velocity and hit all his spots to get batters out. He was balanced, threw within himself and as he grows and gets stronger he will be one to follow closely as an infielder.
