Daniel Henry is a 2008 RHP with a 6'3'', 170 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Liberty Hill. Daniel has good tempo on the mound and solid mechanics throwing out of a 3/4 arm slot. Very projectable tall and slender body with some present strength and room to go. He throws his slurve effectively versus left handed hitters. He is a competitor on the hill and he attacks hitters. His command is good, but he lives on the middle of the plate too much. Will be very effective when he starts to work the corners more consistently. He does a good job of keeping the ball down in the zone, and changes speeds well. He does not hide the ball very well with his delivery, and hitters can pick it up early. He has a good presence on the field, and is an athlete coming off of the mound to field his position. Daniel is a good student.
