Jordan Scott is a 2009 MIF with a 5'8'', 150 lb. frame from Soquel, CA, who attends Scotts Valley High School. Scott has a lean and athletic frame. Defensively he has very good actions with soft hands and nice footwork. He moves well getting himself into the proper fielding position, and he shows range in the middle of the diamond. Scoot makes it look easy defensively. He also has solid arm strength at 76 mph. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an average to wide base. Scott takes a short stride and has an aggressive swing. He is a contact hitter who looks to put the ball in play and makes things happen. He keeps his hands inside, and has the ability to hit to all fields. Scott has a line drive swing plane, and he battles during each at bat. He plays the game hard, and he is a very good student as well.
